Us
The
Nurse Agency was founded in 2001 by Penny Golden,RN, Steven Golden
and Ann Weist. Our goal in starting this company was to create an
agency that offers RNs industry leading pay rates and exceptional
benefits while offering our hospital clients fair and negotiable bill rates and exceptional caregivers.
We offer both nurses and hospitals outstanding customer service
and much deserved respect!
We
believe that excellent service, reliability and trust are the keys
to building strong and successful relationships with nurses and
clients. We pride ourselves on being "The Agency That Cares."
Penny
Golden, RN, President, DON
has been a Registered Nurse for over twenty years. Her previous
hospital experience includes working as a Geriatric Psychiatric
nurse at two local hospitals. She also worked for five years as
the Manager of Nursing Services at a local agency. Penny is our
contact person for new client marketing and clinical incidents.
She is also responsible for the testing, interviewing and supervision
of all nurse employees. Penny received her Bachelor of Science in
Nursing from North Park University.
Ann
Weist, Vice President, Director of Staffing has worked in the health care industry for fifteen years coordinating staff schedules and cultivating strong relationships with hospitals and nurses. She started as a staffing coordinator at a local
agency and worked her way up to the Director of Staffing position. She is the contact person for RN scheduling, client staffing requests, RFP management, GSA contract management, employee Quality Control and credential management and website management.
Ann received
her Master of Arts Degree in Consumer/Industrial Research Psychology
from Cleveland State University and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
from The University of Toledo.
Steven
Golden, Secretary, Director of Operations has spent his almost twenty year career working
exclusively in the supplemental staffing industry in both staffing and office manager positions. He worked his
way up from a staffing coordinator position to holding the title
of Director of Business Operations at an area staffing agency. Steve
is our contact person for all payroll, invoicing, workers' compensation, benefits and budgeting issues. He is responsible for all financial aspects of the office and maintains all business licenses and insurance requirements. Steve received
his Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Loyola University.
